I also have the problem being a private hire driver of the public pestering me to take them home for double the fare.
york council are trying to educate the public by outlining the difference between private hire and public hire, but i dont think they care, all they want to do is get home after a night out wether its in a hackney or private hire vehicle

York need to start by educating taxi drivers, them on the ranks
