Yes... Davy Liver operate in Liverpool (obviously) and across on the Wirral (as Wirral Satellite Cars, formerly Freephone). Two different LAs. These are run as two different businesses though, under two different names, so it's not really what the thread was originally talking about. I don't see any reason why it couldn't be done though, with calls being diverted to local offices and so on.

Delta are almost national... covering Sefton, (mainly) Liverpool and Knowsley. If they haven't already, then I don't think it'll be long before they make their move on one or two of the Wirral firms???

If they make a move on 1 or 2 firms on the Wirral that'll leave not many choices left seeing as Sat made such a good job of buying so many small companies out  Personally I'd no more work for Delta than I would for Sat and I'm currently considering giving where I am now the boot

They use the right licensed vehicles at Gatwick and in London. Assume the same happens elsewhere.

There is no reason that you couldn't use the same name for each office just perhaps differentiate on the cars as to which office they belong and you could use a single national number as long as the calls were diverted to the local office according to which std area they originated

The problem comes with mobiles as there is no way of diverting mobile calls to the nearest office that I am aware of
