I take it that cgull meant that people were asking him to pick up when he wasn't supposed to.

Wasn't that what you did?

it certainly wasnt, no way,
what C Gull meant was stick the knife in, for all your pious remarks you did not mean it did you?

certainly not for the taxidrivers only for the non taxidrivers who get upset
get your act together and have a single set of rules for us all.

not one set for one and another set for others

So you've now retracted the lie allegation, and just saying that cgull was 'sticking the knife in'?

As I said, forget about corporate accounts, look at the man in the street who makes up 70 - 80% of the work, and again get a quote from a minicab firm who betters the £47 quoted above.

Ask John Giffen, when he's sober.

Minicab driver online seems to be sharing this site, still, they're licensed now, instant respectability, quality career drivers, and pine air freshners.

Well there you go.

Market segmentation!

I focus on the corporates cos I reckon it is far more than the 30% of the market you reckon.

Also it is where the profit is and puke, agro and hassle isn't (normally).

You worry about the flagers on the street, I will offer businessfolk exactly what they want and charge them well for it.

Here endeth the lesson.

I think there's a prima facie case against you, and you did freely admit to plying in another zone, so until you've won your battle against the council then I don't think cgull's comment was inappropriate, since it was just a reasonably mild humourous dig without malice intended in my humble opinion.

You'll recall that there was no evidence whatsoever to support the recent allegations made in relation to this website, yet we let the allegations stay for several weeks to give the accusers a chance to front up.

However, despite that, if someone had patently made libellous remarks against you then they would have been removed, but I don't really think that cgull has a case to answer here.

Presumably the council haven't backed down yet?

And you worry about all these nice accounts the tax man gets hold of.

Chi-ching.
