If you'd taken his reg number and reported the accident to the police he would be getting chased up anyway if he fails to report it within 14 days also, personally I'd be only too happy to know he got points for failing to report.

Points for failing to report, I wish.
I was run off the road. Made contact and damaged my rear off side wheel arch. Was told his details would be put on the traffic watch list database.

It wasn't meant for you it was a reply for Edders.

Yes I know who it was for, I was pointing out that in my experience the police aren't in the least interested. Indeed when I complained of the third parties infringement of the law. I was told they would write a letter advicing him on the law and his conduct.
Yes I was gobsmacked as well!!!

Oh I agree, you can blame the PC lot for that though, like in the iother thread, the victim has no rights, but the perp gets a full set, add in all the paperwork and it's not hard to see why the cops are reluctant, you make the same mistake as the rest of the people, you blame the cop on street when infact he's as frustrated about it as you, but the meddlers have tied him up in knots so he can't do the job he's employed to do.

It comes down to an old observation of mine, time and again I'd see a bloke chucked out of a club for fighting, 9 times out of 10 he'd been hit first, but the boneheads only see his retaliation strike so he loses twice, his night is ruined and he looks like the bad guy, when all he was doing was minding his own business, life isn't simple anymore, everyone thinks they are the man and have the right to do their will on others but not accept it when it comes around to bite them back, tbh I'm sick of the whole thing, it's like a school yard life now with too many undesirable people all out for their own agenda, team is dead, and the end game is anarchy, I hope they enjoy eating it because it should arrive just in time for the now 25 year old to be around 60, reap what you sow I think is the term for it.

This is a great country, a world leader, and once we've been effectively removed the world will fall apart for all, silly words maybe, but think about it, what happens when we are no more and all the oppressive types are ruling, back to slavery and anything goes if you desire it, I've always known man is going to be his own end, look at the ancient empires and you can see all the clues, ask yourself why they are no longer, the reason is because man got the greed seed going and as you know if you fish all the fish out of the sea, tomorrow there are no more fish forever, poor old Dodo gave itself to try and educate us, but we don't listen and that will be the undoing of us.

The police did not even take his registration even though I have that the 3rd party did phone us with his name and address so he obviously spoke to his insurers
