Too be honest I've found ph barons to be really self centred, all they care about is themselves. They want to use "tricks and cheats" to make thier lives easier. They mainly employ sub standard staff and it's the drivers who carry the slack for them. Plus they seem to be ashamed to be called XYZ Cars, rather they want to be called XYZ Taxis..

We are a company recognised and highly regulated by the buy with confidence scheme, so we have to follow strict guidelines in order to sign onto the scheme which is in partnership with the local council. I can understand where your coming from where many operators do this but we do not.

I am a fair person, treat me right, I treat you better. Yes we need large amounts of drivers to keep customer service excellent but also we want them drivers to keep moving so I wouldnt want 50 drivers waiting when I only got work for 15 cars.

Our prices are the same as HC prices infact expensive in most cases, people pay our prices knowing we'll turn up and will not let them down.

Which proves my point of saying Drivers are lazy and selfish.. do not think about customers, the company they work for or others

YES I DO THIS!!

We have strict guidelines in place our council policy is when a private hire is not doing anything, they have to wait somewhere they cannot be seen (discrete location) no where near a busy location so we wait in retail car parks or side roads. Is this allowed?

Share your opinions?

So provided I work for you, do the 84 hours per week, we would get on great

That is because education isn't free for these drivers and they can't afford to pay anything out to help themselves either

I think the chances of Waqas having a turn over that results in him paying £15k per quarter VAT are about as likely as him finding a cat to perform sexual acts as he eats popcorn.

PS has anyone advised the RSPCA ?

Come on lads prove me WRONG...

Owners are greedy bastards who want more more and more. They fleece the fuck out of drivers week in week out so their nest is feathered each week...

I'm starting to hate owners with a fuckin passion. After being in this trade for the best part of 23 years I'd gladly take a Gattling Gun to all the greedy fucktard owners who are drilling the drivers to their cabs each week and opposing any fare increase which the drivers put to Councils.

Fuck them all off into the middle of the North Sea with the promise of a boatload of cash, when they board the boat sink the bastard with the lot of them onboard.

And breath.

I take it your a driver then yeah?

I am a operator, see things in different perspectives such as

- customers perspective (focusing on customers, listening and giving)
- business/trade perspective (future of the taxi trade, adapting to the new market)
- financial perspective (financially benefiting the company and its employees/subcontractors (driverS))
- training perspective (identify weaknesses of employees and subcontractors (drivers) and help them improve)

Drivers see it as

- financially (benefiting them only - selfish)

and do not care about

- customers
- business/trade (future of their own work) they just work for now.. dont care about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year and so on..
- training (they believe they know what they doing, when they do not and think trainings a load of bollox)

A businessman with education behind him would understand all this...?

If you think of drivers like that why do you bother?

Typical owner Cap, he's the sort this trade wants getting rid of.

I bet he's not calling them when they are paying their dues and demands on a Monday morning?
