oh come on, its more than nationalism, any time its an Asian sounding name, some of you guys really let rip.

Granted it does seem that there are more Asian sounding name drivers committing these sort of crimes.

also if its a muslim sounding name, then some of you really go to town, yet when its your own brethren, it seems to be toned down.

Its a great forum for information and advice I appreciate it.

Unfortunately this media is instant in its impact for sure it can infuriate like no other, there are many diverse and valid views expressed in many forms polite aggravating and bleedin insulting, well were all grown up and should accept the medium. I have verballed Wanna Doom Bloodknock amonsgt others but I suspect were we to meet we'd wet ourselves laughing??

I beleve disagreement and debate is healthy but if you have the power to lock or delete posts could you resist it??


I was told stop the left wing rants, there were no rants just forcefull expression, are left wing views invalid because of the rght wing views of the moderators
no of course not, sure there need to be boundaries advocating genocide or racism would be a step too far for me.

This is a valuable asset the moderators could maybe allow themselves some more cooling down time before LOCKING and accept that left and right views and all in between are the honest valid and sincerely held views of most contributors?

Nope, it's the law of the land.

True Nationalists want to promote the good of their nation and welcome people of all races creeds and colours with similar aims.

Racists promote their race above others and hide behind a pretence of Nationalism.

To me the issue isn't what is and what isn't the law or the pros and cons of free speech, but one of common decency and not offending people who have done nothing wrong.

Why should drivers have to come on here to defend their race or their religion?

Snide 'nice British name' or 'another one of them' or 'same again' comments may or may not be racist, but IMO they should play no part in the ramblings on TDO.

Issues such as the petition the lad in Hull is dealing with are a great way of dealing with certain problems that we have in the taxi/PH trade.

Having a long check-able period before anyone gains a license makes bundles of sense, and would help deal with many of the problems with those foreign sounding names in the press.

I get the hump when thickos point the finger at the PH trade indicating that we are all touts and rapist, but that's nothing to the way drivers with an ethnic background must feel when they are being tarred by the same brush as the scumbags.

It's not right and surely the good folks of TDO are better than that.
