The above applies to me as well...................to swap for 26K minus tax/NI would leave you alright, but not actually swimming in MONEY!! However if I were younger ( sometimes you have to do things when you are younger and making your way), and you then linked the cab up to weekend work as already mentioned................then you would be doing very nicely financially.

However (again), you would be working for someone ------------- unfortunately I am not very good at being told what to do.

There again if I were younger then it would be off to London and - do the knowledge \:D/

Not these days not even close I would have to think twice about dropping my drivers in it but to me that would be fantastic I could actually indulge in my hobbies at weekends the thing is though no one is going to offer me a job like that !!!

Never mind subsidising their tax cuts I'm more concerned with the methods by which some of these private companies are funded by the public purse

Trosky, you have to remember you cannot B.S a B.S.

The guys live outside because London is no longer like London!! Let me just say (because we have to be P.C) that London is not full of REAL Londoners any more - in fact take away the notable land marks.........and you would not think that you were in the U.K, never mind London..........nowt to do with costs

Tbh I normally call a spade a spade, but old habits die hard as I have a "GOLDEN" rule of "NEVER" putting "ANYTHING" in writing that can be used against ME!! Having said that, you are not allowed to call a SPADE a SPADE  - if you know what I mean
