It's not a big saving is it 15p a gallon. You can't get a deal of petrol for 15p.

and often pump prices are lower than fueld cards so any savings are wiped out, bunker cards are bad, you have to find the bunker first, i got lost in a truck once down Dover way at 2am, had to ring the transport manager...

Maybe not much per gallon but in my case it totals over £1,000 per year so I will take it.

No, but when you buy fuel, do you go to the most expensive? If the fuelcard is competetive, I use it. If it isn't I don't. And all relevant filling stations are within 2 miles of home. It's not rocket science!!!

i must be in a minority here i just fill up and dont think about it,there are other areas of life where i can save more if i wanted to,im not going out of my way to find fuel 1-3p cheaper...if its 1.41 fair enough if its 1.46 ill manage....just do without the mars bar at the checkout

And your point is what? When margins are tight you should make as many small savings as possible.

Like I said with one car 15 pence worth of petrol isn't going to get you far.
