But were not talking about making a rank.I could be going into a shop and a job is waiting by my taxi when i come out,or pulled up somewhere to take a phone call.It aint rocket science even for you :wink:

get a stroppy LO and see what happens.....if your parked in a public place that can be construed as waiting for trade....on a non-rank

LO could be as stroppy as they want,its taxed and roadworthy so i can sit wherever i want ,especially if the hirelights not on :wink:

Can tell why your ph,this being difficult for you.Ranks work a lot of the time because people know they are there,and know a taxi will be there.But another scenario is a taxi gets a job to a hotel.When dropping customer off a punter approaches and says "are you allright for a fare,mate ? " its called being a Hackney Driver,instant hiring

In the inner city we are outside every pub,theatre,casino,cinema,anything that's got a group of people in,double yellow lines or not,there's so many of us!.
