North east leicestershire, it is the rural capital of food. Where they make porkpies, stilton cheese, pedigree chum and whiskas.

That's what's in the Pork Pies then?

I'm guessing it's the nutrition the dog didn't get

Really ?? It's 25 years since I was there, more dogs than the army camp ! I'm surprised it's still open, still called The Tube or Tubes ? I seem to recall you entered through an illuminated tunnel, possibly rotating - tell me that's not still there as well.

The "tunnel" or "tube" was static. the lights may have given the appearance of movement. No it is not there anymore but the club is still called Tubes. They no longer do the grab a granny night on Thursdays but they still open on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. the embarrasing thing for me is that I take a lot of the girls home at 2.00 in the morning after the tuesday night and then pick them up again at 8.00 to take then to school.

we used to have a club like that in Stamford but constant attention from the police over under age drinking forced it to become strict on ID and they lost 90% of their trade and closed whereas the other nightclub where drugs are rife is ignored by the police !!
