Ill hesitate in naming them yet ! As ive not finished. Thanks for the info, ill try the cc company route first sussex and it was slightly less than 100 quid. Its become a point of principle.Too cut a long story short bought over phone for 95 quid with 2 year warranty.Battery fails on me after 5 months, ring up to explain and told thell have to have it back to be tested.Told him have had to replace it because cant be off the road for a week or more.I had to pay their courier 27 quid to send back ! So rang me yesterday "weve found the battery to be defective so will send you a new one" sorry would prefer a refund.Final offer were willing to give you 60 quid as youve had it five months, your loss with postage. If it wasnt such a long drive i might be tempted to hand deliver it back !!!! Thanks for info
I take it the price of £95 was without the postage. In which case the full price was over £100.

It was quoted as free postage, although the reciept states postage was 9.99 ? Confused, you will be.Same courier to return it 27 pound.....

100% refund plus cost of P&P, the Battery was Faulty or not fit for purpose, either way you should be due a full refund if it had a 2 year warrranty.

Take it up with Trading standards.

The way they look at it is irrelevant. It is the law. You could have used it for 1 year and 11 months and still be entitled to a full refund.

Been on to trading standards and basically if hes offering to replace it theres not a lot you can do.Hes entitled to charge you for postage to send it back aswell im told.Guess the moral of the story is buy local then at least when you have a dispute you 'can wing it at em'!!

I dont think so, a years warranty is statutory (though you have to let them fix or replace) the 2 year warranty is their own to implement as they see fit, again, fix or replace is by their choice, always is
