I've had my badge just over 10 years and I still don't have any sort of routine. That's the beauty of the job innit?

90 hours a week.

Enjoy your thrombosis.

I live comfortably. Sleep comfortably. Rest comfortably. Earn comfortably.

A good run will dramatically reduce my working week into even more family time than I already have.

shrugs.

if you pretending to be an expert (loose term) of about everything why didn't you give us a simply answer, how many hours? break every 2 hrs. or 3 hrs. how many coffies to keep you awaken? or every how many miles make full stop to stretch your bones? just between two of us, last week I did 60 hrs. and I'm one of laziest. and what 60 hrs. mean? being ready to work, not digging a hole for 60 hrs. don't really know how many effective worked hrs. but on my eye less than half of it, the rest is resting hrs. you plonker. same about 90 hrs. if there's nothing better to do...

My future ex reckoned she worked 19 hours a day as a private hire driver in my rural area. When I looked at the car and saw the average speed was something like 23.9 mph over a year, I divided the mileage by that and found she'd driven 3.9 hours a day every day if she'd worked every day, and that included her private mileage. she may have been taking calls over a 19 hour period, but working 19 hours a day? I think not.

Anyway, why work stupid hours? You only work the extra hours to pay the extra tax you have to pay.

Normal pattern Mon to Fri 06:00 to 17:00. SATs normally 8 hours ish 07:00 to 15:00 or 18:00 to 02:00. No nightclubs (or discos) in our LA. Odd for a town of about 145000. There are some late night pubs/bars though that play a bit of music.
