could the police be persuaded to get involved ?
In an email from enforcement yesterday it was sugested that when drivers saw it happening we should immediatly phone enforcement or the police. However at 2.00 in the morning neither the Council or the police station are manned. The police would not be interested anyway because it would be low priority. They don't attend for attempted burglary on odd numbered houses here. I read yesterday that in one area they won't even attend to a petrol station where someone has driven off without paying unless the car was on stolen plates. They are now saying it is up to the garage to chase the people through the civil courts.
