Councils are not blaming the TAXI trade but are expecting you to be the eyes and ears for the public safety in relation to some CSE. if the training you receive is correct.

Do not have a problem with it being a condition of license but must be a free of charge training exercise.

No doubt that these courses have been going for a year or two.

I wonder how many drivers up and down the country during that time..............have reported anything at all? My guess is that it is next to nothing.

Its tantamount to blaming the trade when they decide ALL the trade should take these courses, are all coach drivers (national express, etc) being forced into them, are ride staff at Alton Towers being forced into them, how about staff at McDonalds, they see more kids than we do....

think about it, you drop off a man and child and you dont like something, you report it, the guy gets a visit....can you be sure he wont realise you reported it?......bish bosh......
