really since 1980 Wales have beaten England twice drawn once and lost 7 times. Wales are used to losing to England so why should it be embarrassing we are the bigger nation with more players to choose from so a win should be a source of pride but a defeat is the natural order of things

Oh and Northern Ireland should hold their heads up high losing 1-0 against the Germans is nowt to be ashamed of they have acquitted themselves well

It was not so much the losing - it was the fact that we played like a bad parks football side on the night. It it all very well giving a side respect and parking up the bus so to speak, in doing so you have to be able to pass the ball - we did not/could not. That alone cost us the chance of a draw.

Against the Russians we passed them off of the park and our overall stats were very good - you could not get two more contrasting performances.

Hmm England would be massive favourites........I guess if we took them down to penalties , more than a few bottoms might begin to squeak

Joking aside; It is a strange one that they were one of the highest scoring teams in group qualifying, and now !!!!!! Why have the goals dried up?

If we get a decent referee we should (based on our Russian performance) be alright. Imo most of the officiating in general has been diabolical. With all of this holding,grabbing and cynical fouling...... I would punish them retrospectively with an automatic one game ban, increased if it were severe/persistent.
