The EU Eco-Deathwish eh? The same Eco-Deathwish that allows Germany to mine more coal so they aren't dependent on wind. The same wind they wanted the UK to adopt after we closed all our coal mines and coal fired power stations.

Aye..the EU and especially France and Germany are full of contradictions and double standards, never the less it's still the EU that's telling us what to do right now.

BTW not only does the EU supply the UK with 95% of the diesel cars we buy, it also supplies us with the 4 to 5 weeks worth of refined DIESEL we cant produce.........

Lets stop buying thier cars (after Brexit)

There's no reason we should stop buying Cars made in the EU as it it's not the EU that makes them, it's the Individual countries that make up the EU that makes them and I''m sure their take on selling us cars at a lowest price possible will be far different to that of the EUs high heid yins...the EU is just that, a European Union, it was a concept based on economic advancement through Economic Cooperation but which slowly but surely took on more powers than it's individual states knew were being transferred away from them, it used and still uses mission creep to advance it's own cause, people and states hardly saw it happening until now.

Brexit has caused the other EU states to reflect on just how much sovereignty they have lost (or Gained as in Germany and Frances case) due to EU mission Creep that they now seek EU reform...these EU states and their business's don't want to lose our sales and I'm quite convinced they'll look after our interests simply because they'll be looking after their own first by doing so.

The EU as it is is on the way out, a new EU is going to replace it, lets hope it's not run by the same self serving cretins that are running it now or it'll be dead before it's reborn.

Not 1 European car company truly builds mass produced cars in the UK, im not counting Bentley or Rolls Royce, BMW build the mini I suppose but VAG and PSA (the main companies) dont but oddly 3 Japanese companies have factories here, Nissan, Honda and Toyota (whilst products from which, in LHD form, must - I assume - be exported to the EU)

Peugeot bought the Coventry Chrysler/Talbot plant and shut it
