So how long were you off and was it easy enough to relearn.

It's not so much the physical side I'm bothered about, rather just the fact of being able to ride the thing.

It was several years since I had last ridden a bike, probably 20 years, and to be honest it was easy enough to ride, I was just totally unfit. I will be 60 this year.

You will be fine, treat yourself to a nice new bike, and if you get back into the grove you can come down here and join the annual naked bike ride.

Thanks - suspect that if I hadn't thought about it then would just jump on as if I'd never been off, but it's like when you think about things that you normally do automatically, that's when you make mistakes...

The mind boggles...think even if I manage to get back on the saddle, naked bike rides are something I definitely won't be doing [-( 8-[
