We've got a new £27m bus station with a rank for 3 cars, but no pick-up or drop off area for PH or the public!

The hac's are rubbing their hands in glee!.....................for the moment

these guys are not regulated day to day, the complaints procedure is all red tape, we can take a driver off the road in a matter of minutes but these guys can kill someone and rape someone without anyone finding out till the next day. OK them examples were extreme but you can see what im getting at.

Not in London matey, we leave that to the other side.

You seem unable to divulge what area your rattling on about?, any reason? I'm sure theres some Taxi drivers from this LA reading right now who would love to give the true version of the facts relating to this 'awful' place where you work?

Go on MnbD tell us. :doubt:

Skinflints travel by bus, I'd let the Minicabs have the monopoly if it were in London.

i think the ranks are good, in town centres where people shop and want to get out.

HCs are not safe at all, they have the dodgiest drivers, dodgiest cars, dodgiest meters and no safety for customer or driver.

PHV's are recorded from the moment they pick up to the moment they drop off so there is safety for customer and driver, plus the route is monitored so there is no scope for arguement on the fare price.

I have read some $hit on here but that post tops the lot.

What a load of guff you spout.

I'd love to know what licensing area you live in because I can assure you that aint the case for HC or PH down here.

PH are recorded??? does that include all the illegal touting on a Fri/Sat night? are these customers safer in a car which is uninsured for illegal roadside pickups?

No scope for argument on the price you say, funny that as most PH run fares off the trip meter, very open to abuse I'd say.

Route is monitored by who?

PH has a sense of security, the firm is there, a phone call away. i jumped into a hac from town, asked him to take me to a certain street and he asked for guidance????? ffs man, i pay for peace not to be alert at your every move!

You are having a laugh aren't you

In order of importance I think you'll find the ability to speak english (at least in the UK) is way above the ability to have a huge ego.

Yes they are, they are regulated by the same rules as you.

so what would you suggest? shoot the accused before trial?
