well just discovered i've been banned from fastblacks within no time. only registered on there to put a link to Press Cuttings Monthly on there and when i wanted to reply to scotties comments i got the following message:
sorry TM you are banned from using this forum! Abuse, and inability to post sensibly....!! What the hell is all that about....?
I have a theory TM. I suspect you will be told that you are someone you are not? Alternately I suspect you will be informed that you allowed your PC in Bradford to be used by an individual or individuals residing in Scotland? Then you will be given an official explanation why you were banned from a Mr Alan G who will tell you that he spoke to someone called Mr Scotty who confirmed that the ban relates to someone using your account from a computer or computers based in Scotland.
This Alan G fella will also tell you which ISP you are on and then suggest that because you didn't use that particular ISP you must be in collusion with the two gentlemen in Scotland. He will inform you that you are banned because an attempt was made by one of these two Scottish individuals to use your login details and gain access to his forum? He will then ask you, how could that be?
By this time you are at the stage were a physical manual act by either Mr Scotty of Mr G has had the effect of barring you from their forum.
We now enter the stage where I predict that sooner or later Mr Alan G will tell you that it was all a big mistake. He will say, Scottie never said you were banned for allowing two gentlemen from Scotland to use your computer?
I predict that the excuse will change to you being banned because of a software problem and that Mr G will publish your IP address just to show you what a clown he is?
It is a pity you told him that you also use AOL because he wouldn't have had a clue that it was you trying to log on and not one of the two gentlemen from Scotland who are currently barred?
It would have been amusing watching him call you a liar which he initially alluded to when he suggested you let someone in Scotland use your account details.
However, Mr Alan G has in the past demonstrated that he is not a person to trust and you would be unwise to think otherwise.
Regards
