I'm not so sure if returning a car in this way isn't detrimental to getting further credit - I've certainly heard that people have had to go elsewhere for credit rather than the credit company that they've handed the car back to.

It's certainly the case that they must lose a fortune on a lot of these motors.

BTW, on a pedantic note I think you have to pay have the repayments before handing it back, and that includes interest, thus not half the purchase price as grandad claimed.

You are right I meant half the payments.

Has anyone actually done this and have experience of it? I'm in the market for a change of car. I'm waiting for a call from my normal 2nd hand supplier to say he's found me a vehicle, however I am considering buying new from one of theses cab companies.

A chum of mine appears to change his car every two years without any problem but, I would appreciate other testament and corroboration that the 'system' works.

yes thats your other option a lease purchase but you will have to find a balloon payment at the end.
Give the taxi centre a bell they will give you the exact figures for you to decide.
there is another way go to your nearest skoda dealer and they will do the same deal, the figures in my early-er post are correct, and I have had 4 cars from them and no problems with the warranty
