Sorry, lads, for that goal. Yet, it wouldn´t have changed much, would it? Cheer up, it´s only a game!

Schadenfreude perhaps Mr Jochen?

No schadenfreude! Maybe a bit of angst of people like Rooney. They make me feel like being back in kindergarden.

Outplayed, overpaid.

The English game is IMO seriously f*cked.

It bears echoes of the Scottish games of a few years ago, home grown players ignored in favour of 'off the peg' foreign imports.

The root of the problem is the money in the Premiership, its less of a risk to buy off the peg than it is to develop home grown talent, which might take many years.

The German side was the youngest in the world cup, it included 6 of their under 21 team than won the Euro U21 championships last year, the English side had 2 players in the squad from the England side that lost in the final to Germany last year.

Nuff said..........bring back Easteners and Corry.

The dominance of Sky Sport in televised matches is the main root of the evil.

Without their money, players would have to be home grown.

Time to smash Sky Sports' dominance, otherwise the same will happen every time.

Maybe.....I just tend to think the homegrown players dont stand a chance, are people seriously telling me Glen Johnston is the best right back in England?

FFS the last time an Englishman was left that exposed to a German it resulted in Dunkirk

I thought the television was broken.... it seemed as if England were in slow motion.... and somebody had pressed the fast bottom where Germany was concerned...

The one good thing about the world cup... is that Tesco has been doing some really good deals on booze...

Great marketing by all those retailers that said they'd refund 100% of the price if England won the world cup. They got it right!!!!
