Germany's 3rd goal was scored from an English free kick which hit the defensive wall and where the ball was lost by Gareth Barry, England were pushing up for an equaliser leaving themselves wide open at the back.

Germany's forth, from an English thrown in at Germany's 18 yard line was similar, England pushing up for a second goal.

If Lampards goal had been allowed would the English have pushed up so much?
