Give it a go. Churn it long enough and you might get yoghurt as it starts to go off.

Churn single cream and you will get some butter at the end.

Next time, rather than all that effort, you'll buy Butter.

That will be the ones that can afford to fly away to warmer climbs for the winter so they can turn their gas and electric off over here. if I wasn't still working I would be doing the same.

I see the latest Met Office rain warning for the south coast has been extended overnight to include Brighton

https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/wa ... k-warnings

When I looked last night, the border of the warning area was around the Chichester area :-o

We've had our fair share here as well - a huge lake formed at the bottom of the field adjoining our cottages last week, and three swans even flew in for a look

But, as Edders says, a drier spell forecast from tomorrow, up here at least.

Had to laugh at the Met Office's 'reason for update' of their rain warning area. Good when you get your own personal forecast, but not so good when it's a rain warning

Reason for update

Warning area has been extended eastward along the English Channel coast to include Sussex and the end time extended to the end of Saturday night.

(And a bit misleading as well, since the warning seems to be in force until 0600 on Sunday.)
