try LHR T2 overheight minimum £11 or Luton short stay they are all getting like it parking is the only thing they can make money on as the airlines are constantly pushing to keep their charges down. Not sure about Gatwick but Luton Stansted and Heathrow have all upped their charges recently. Luckily I only get a Manchester about once every 3 or 4 years but I seem to remember last time cost be about £6

Manchester £3.50 for 15 minutes or part thereof. It's legalised robbery.

Airport car parks a license to print money for their owners and shareholders

Five punters £8.00 fare:

"£2.00 each shouts one"
"That will make it a tenner" - says brainiac
" Nah - hes a nice bloke - give him a two pound" tip they chorus

Tight git brainiac collects £2.00 from the four contributions , waits till his mates get out and give me exactly £8.00

Its not the fact I didnt get a tip - I question the morals of the tight arse FFS

People who compliment you throughout the journey 'Ooh this is a nice car, you're a good driver, I like your aftershave, thanks for giving us dining recommendations' etc. And then at the end of the journey ask for the discount !

It's not so much not being given a tip, it's the fact that despite being so friendly and helpful not only do you think I don't deserve a tip but my efforts were'nt even worth paying the full fare

Women (never blokes) who keep you waiting outside their house for ages and then after setting off say 'I'm busting for the loo'.

People who keep you waiting ages and when they finally get in the car say 'can you put your foot down I'm running late' - my response is to then drive at 29mph for the entire journey !

When you ask people whereabouts on a very long road they're going reply 'Top/bottom end' so which ends that then ?

When you get a pickup from a long country road for a place called 'Farmers Cottage' and not one of the properties on the 3 mile long road has a nameplate or door number, or the name of the cottage is above the front door down an access road 200yds from the lane !

When you get an out of town job and the punter says they're going to 'Berthas B+B in Manchester' but don't know which road it's on or have a phone number for it and are annoyed that you don't know where it is ! (call yourself a taxi driver, you're supposed to know these things). And then say 'just head for Manchester, I think it's near the football ground I'm sure we'll find it ! #-o

had one like that last month but the cottage didn't even have a nameplate only found out where it was by asking a neighbour !

People who hold conversations on the pavement by zebra crossings, you stop but they are'nt waiting to cross.
People who cross the road 10ft away from a zebra crossing and still expect you to stop, giving you a mouthfull when you don't.
People who just step out onto a zebra crossing when you're 20ft away doing 30mph and give you a dirty look when you skid to a halt inches away from them.
People who start crossing the road 10ft from a zebra crossing but go diagonally from the pavement onto the crossing giving you little time to stop safely.
Scouse pop groups who pose for photos on zebra crossings holding up all the traffic
