Charlie was being generous, he thought he would give the director the opportunity to resign before he appropriated all his members.

That's the difference between Charlie and me. I would have given him a sword and suggested he fall on it.... they are all bloody useless... but we have to work with what we've got.

I can't criticise anyone who freely gives their time in order to assist others and I suppose there are varying degrees of competence and ability in each individual officer. It does not mean that where someone is deficient in one department that their deficiency is not compensated for in another department?

In short even though some people might not show the same aptitued and knowledge as their colleagues, they might make up that shortfall by way of commitment.

I guess I'm just being gracious to all those who give their time for others without receiving any financial reward.

Regards

JD

Charlie, it would appear the first Preston hackney carriage association never called a meeting whereby a vote of no confidence was tabled against the chairman? Does that not mean it wins the name game by default?

Regards

Were the NTA asked?

Manchester TOA and the GMB were there because they would I suggest have a vested interest?

Regarding your first comment, the 100 other drivers arent NTA members, although you possibly havent told them that?
