Well today matters escalated I have now been BANNED from the taxi rank on the orders of Wayne the payne and other drivers of silver cabs with a string of abuse and even text messages ordering me out of town !!

The councils attitude is send them a letter and the licencing committee will debate it and decide if any action is needed in the mean time i've been told to go to the police.

so now I'm stuck with having to rely on phone work only the bullies have won and the council has made it clear that theres nothing they will do about after 20v years in the trade it looks as if I'm being forced out it seems that honest cabbies ain't welcome round here not by the council or anyone.

You say they've banned you from the rank, on what grounds?

I assume you have a Hackney license that covers the area we are speaking of?

edited as I was replying to a post on the other page without realising.

I think thats what I was suggesting on page one, great world isn't it, one bloke decides to assasinate someone and along comes the rest of the flock to back him up.

I'd like to know what you are supposed to have done wrong to get this treatment.

Isn't a variation in licence conditions subject to appeal to the magistrates? This would be a lot cheaper than a full county court action, IMHO.

Well from what you say it is bully syndrome, and there's only one way to stop that and thats to front it out with him, easy to say on a website I know, whats the blokes background, is he a fighter or a mouth?
