I always find it sad when an articulate person who obviously knows his stuff has to start his postings with a cheap quip at other folks punctuation skills.
I think Mr Millward's comments were meant to be tongue in cheek when he wrote the following.

I don't generally respond to a taxi driver forum, however, some of the anecdotes on your site are quite amusing notwithstanding the grammatical errors by some.
It was me who questioned his punctuation in response to the above swipe at the members on this forum.
Precisely what he meant by this I don't know?

So put your BIG gobs where your livelihoods are and start supporting your trade now by joining a reputable trade body,( and I don't mean the bucket collectors of no significance either) because next year you may not have any thing to shout about?
If Mr. Millward really wants to endear himself to the members of this forum he will obviously have to brush up on his diplomacy. However, as we all know the post was tongue in cheek and wasn't really posted by Mr. Millward. If we take the post in the spirit in which it was meant then there needn't be a great kerfuffle over it but I must admit I'm becoming increasingly concerned at Mr. Millward's ability to regularly change persona, just like his idols the A team.
Best wishes
