£11 BILLION spent on the Olympics, and Londons like a ghost town.

Hotels are empty, bars are empty, and restaurants are closing early and laying off the extra staff they took on for this 'once in a lifetime' event, and if it wasnt for the fact half of Londons taxi drivers have stayed away, I would'nt be working much either.

Fantastic, well done 'Dave' and HM Government, another negative growth quarter coming up, the triple dip recession gets closer.

Olympic legacy? My arse.

No surprise the sort of money some hotels have been asking, and Londoner's have been getting out to escape from it all, I've picked up a few myself recently.
