Wot I said on another thread on here. £359 for 52 hours work, is it really worth working all those hours for less than minimum wage?

Like the local new boy in Lydd, overheard telling the 'ian at the car wash he's making £1000 a week PROFIT....in this part of the world, I think not, especially as his car seems to be parked outside his house every time I go past.

I hope HMRC aren't monitoring this site!

Under the inland revenue rules working that way, your an employee, so the owner is breaking the law.
I bet you dont take that every week, and dont get paid for your holidays or receive sick pay
So you should receive £316.16 every week if you do the same hours, minus tax and NI

What you earn is of no relevance to anyone else,only you can spend it ! Thats one thing i hate about taxi driving all the bullshitters who have the 500 pound sat night Nobody knows what i earn not even the taxman.....

I have had 4 Saturday nights this year where I have took over £500 and last year I had 2 of them. And yes the tax man does know. Well he know about last years. This year is still ongoing but he will know at the end.
