This isn't about Tony Blair, scumbag that he is, or anyone else. It's also not about about wind turbines or little green men from Mars.

It's about TORIES blatently abusing their positions to fill their own pockets and those of their backers.
Other people are crooks or NIMBYS are mostly Tories isn't a defence or an argument.

"Yes m'lud, my client is a thieving scumbag, but he thought it would be ok since so many others are too" #-o

One wonders why you, the right wing press and the other Tory sychophants are so desperate to avoid the subject. :-"

NO. You just want to avoid talking about it. You'd rather go on about yesterday's men, nickel and dime unions or anything else.

Tories on the make are on a different level.

Where does it all go?

Quote:
Labour has received just over £60m in donations, while the Tories have taken just under £45m since the general election of 2010.

Labour’s biggest donor by far is Unite, which has provided 20 per cent, or £11.9m, of party donations since the election.

Unite is the country’s biggest union with 1.42m members, and the automatic levy they pay is worth £3 per person to Labour.

Gussie, all the industries we have or had, shipping lines, car factories, pits, steelworks, boatyards, railways, etc, etc were started with private investors money, mainly wealthy Tories, you might hate it but thats how it all came about

You hate Tories but have you got any left up in Scotland? and why keep on if your gonna be independent after you freedom vote?...

wont it all be milk and honey afterwards?

wait till all that shale oil gets fracked up, we will be seeing low fuel prices then lads...

Fracking releases mainly methane gas so will be of little use as road fuel without using FT processing which is expensive because of the large amounts of energy used so whilst it might make us a little less dependant on the russian oligarchs for our gas supplies it won't bring down the price of fuel

There is also the environmental problem of that released gas not all coming up the pipes and working its way up through the ground and contaminating everything in it's path it is a very dirty industry

We've got a company called Alkane round here who are extracting methane gas from the old coal mines and selling it on the open markets. They got their foot in the door by saying "people round here will benefit from cheaper gas bills". Have we got cheaper gas bills? Have we bollocks, they're selling it on the open market making more money.

These are the ones http://alkane.co.uk/

I have no problem with private investors and private money. Never have done.
But there's a difference between investing in something risky, and using bribery or corruption to make it a sure thing.

If there's one thing I hate more than a corrupt [edited by admin], its a stupid [edited by admin] who can't or won't see that there anything wrong with corruption.

Here we go again....no answers so let's just try to belittle the sweaty porridge [edited by admin] instead.

I hope you burn your arse next time you flush the bog, you pathetic little sycophant.

Shell has dropped theirs round here to 138.9.       Can't for the life of me understand people who travel 3 miles and pass three filling stations to put some fuel in @ 1-2P cheaper a litre then drive the 3 miles back home passing the same filling stations.

My neighbour does it I've tried explaining to him he's losing money doing it that way but once they see it's cheaper they'll travel for it.

Sounds about right I have a golden rule that if I'm nearer home than morrisons I use BP if I'm nearer morrisons I use them 2p a litre difference is quickly wiped out by the 2.5 miles from morrisons to home at the end of the shift
