Very good =D> Having established that we are surrounded by sea water, now raises the problem of getting it potentially 150 miles inland to a given spot, economically :doubt:


and there was me being taught at school that no where in the uk is more than 70 miles from the sea or is that just made up

You are of course right, I took the measurement at the widest point. In any event 70 miles is a fair piping distance.
