Do you think that by leaving the EU VAT will dissapear. It wont. It is not a tax that is limited to EU countries. Even if it were scrapped it would be replaced by a tax with another name. You obviously don't remember the complicated system of rates when it was purchase tax.

Whats the % of crime attributed directly to EU migrants in your (rural) area grandad, if you had a family member robbed or raped by a drunk Pole youd be be screaming OUT from the rooftops

No idea about crime from EU migrants in my area, We don't have that many. If a family member was robbed or raped by anyone, regardless of their nationality, I would be screaming out from the rooftops.
Actually my sister did have here bank card stolen at the weekend by someone who may have been from another Country. The bank have refunded her loses so I have put my ladder away for now.

This is the problem the effects of unfettered EU immigration is not shared equally.
People who live in areas with little immigration and that includes 99% of our MP's either don't have a clue or don't give a toss about the millions of people whose lives have been blighted by mass immigration especially with the latest Roma influx the affects on house prices in my area have been devastating for example the two bedroom terraced properties at the bottom of my village three years ago were going for 60k now there going for 30k at the most there are many people who have lived there all there lives and are desperate to get out but cannot sell for enough to buy anywhere else and the option of taking another mortgage on when your in your 50's and older isn't really feasible in fact some have been so desperate to move they have sold for what they can get and have now become renters after being owner occupiers for decades.

Are you saying that house prices in your village have halved in 3 years because of immigration?

You seem to be trawling the barrel a bit. The earlier link was to a story from Sweden and this one is from the States.

I have to be honest and say that it does not affect our area very much at the moment! Having said that I do not have the mentality that says......it does not affect me " I am alright Jack" so to speak . Unfortunately the top politicians do have that mentality and it is very much " I am alright Jack" from them. At my age I could move down to West Wales, a beautiful part of the country, a part of the country that will be amongst the last to be affected as there is very little work to be had down there, so no attraction for those trying to build a future. It would probably see me out until the six feet of earth comes.....but is that right?

There is no way that I want my Grandchildren living in fear for the rest of their lives....there is no way that I want to live in some sort of apocalyptic environment, whereby I am unable due to advancing years unable to defend my wife or myself, from some reoccurring atrocity like Cologne.

From where I am standing you should start thinking outside of your rose tinted zone, as it is not just about you. If it is too much to think about others outside of your spectrum......then at least fight the corner for your family members that you will eventually leave behind - it is not going to be very nice as it stands.

Yes to your question, the village of Hexthorpe has always had a significant influx of immigrants starting with the Asians in the 60's and on the whole people have assimilated and got on together but the latest influx of Roma's has simply swamped the bottom end of the village to the extent if you didn't know better you wouldn't think you were in the Uk anymore. The only people buying houses in that area are landlords who naturally want to pay as little as possible

and that's how bo11ocks are spreaded around... what's a difference about drunk Pole in England and asylum seeker in Sweden... anyway why there's always Pole the bad one? we had a prison here with 575 inmates and 10 Poles of it, inmates spoke in 52 languages, now there's detention centre and detainees uses even more languages but most of them comes from commonwealth...

What a fecking mess..

Tell me exactly how being in the EU affects your day to day life and how not being in the EU will affect your day to day life. Maybe you could tell me how your day to day life changed when the UK joined the EU?

Some would say 1000s of non local EU folks driving taxi/PH makes a pretty big dent in our way of life.
