so today it was 2nd vs 3rd with second coming out on top and Halesowen beating Corby so we're still second 1 point behind but that game against Gresley when they strung 11 across the back has cost us dear we could have been top with a game in hand

well midweek we struggled to overcome 2nd from bottom at home and today were away at one of the top 4 but a better performance meant we came away with all 3 points but the leaders won 4-3 away at Shepshed so are still 1 point ahead of us but crucially we have lost our game in hand

Jimbo what happened they forgot to score the equalizer

Sussex will be the happiest bunny on here today I suspect

The result was great.

But even better was singing to Potter that he was going to be sacked in the morning. :D

3-1 home win against Cambridge city today means we stay second

first round FA Cup today's the days the minnows get their day of glory oi Jimbo they forgot to equalize again  still you didn't want a run in the FA cup did you

Pete shouldn't be too disappointed with todays result still only 3 points covering the bottom 5 so very much still in it and Sussex should again be happy because if they keep this up they will be playing in Europe next season

Funny game, football.

Last Saturday we couldn’t see off non league Chippenham. Stayed over at sons place in Gloucester and went to see the imps play championship Bristol City at Ashton gate, and beat them 3-1 in the carabao cup. Into the last 16. Looking for a good draw tonight. Away at Liverpool, or forest, or either of the mancs . Not Brighton, please, we’ve done them before…

50/50 chance obvs, but an away game to premier league team would be the ideal, but I’m happy with what ever we get.

You would have to find a new keeper.

1996. Southampton 2-2 Lincoln. 3rd round of the league cup. After beating Manchester City in the second round. Lost 3-1 in the replay.

It’ll be a lot more than a day out.

Long distance league cup for the imps this season, Barrow, Bristol City, Southampton!

today was St Neots 1 Daniels 3 BUT the team that inflicted our first league defeat of the season beat Halesowen 3-2 so we go top !

well Lincoln managed their usual score draw but in the premier league quite an interesting set of results

I'm sure Man city fan will be very happy about todays result  and Pete you're now 3rd bottom so improving

of course the seagulls didn't play today but I think by and large with one exception all of our teams did OK today
