Thanks for the full address.

I think you've now answered your original question.

It just goes to show, you knew the answer all along, all it needed was a little encouragement from old GBC.

Regards, GBC.

Thank God theres a real London Taxi rank outside, so the customers don't have to use the minicabs.

Yes its a well known fact, Terry travels in real London taxi's.
Judas springs to mind, still its another tenner in my back pocket.

What's your perceived definition of a 'real' Londoner then Mr Northern Ireland?
Pearls a plenty? Jellied Eel's? Bow Bell's? Barrow boy's? or the local council estate residents that give you their custom to Tesco and back?

thank you GBC, im not into bashing your industry.......this fare was quoted by the marshall inside terminal 1.... the gentlemen have the carriage office address and will be writing to them shortly

AS the fare was more than 12 miles the driver was free to negiotiate whatever fare he wanted to, the punter was of course free to take it or leave it. Nothing for the carrage office to get involved in.

So all the people I take home during a shift or drop of at one of the London termini, they're not Londoners then? =;

I work in London, and have lived in Finchley, am I a Londoner?

I think what your trying to say is your local council estate residents don't travel up town by taxi, phoning your minicab office instead?

If thats what you think 'real' Londoners are, then your more than welcome to their custom.
I'll stick with the nice folks up town.

I'm well aware of the area's you mention.

There are fare's a plenty going out to these areas on any given night, if you doubt my word, park up at the Polish War Memorial and watch the Taxi's exiting the A40.

I also have 20/20 vision, and regularly see the standard of people waiting at your average minicab office such as Roseberry Cars in Clerkenwell, I always switch my light off in case they try to hail me.
Your welcome to them.

You still haven't answered my point about 'real' Londoners not using licensed Taxi's.

well GBC, i started my cabbing days in hampstead gradually moved out to the middlsex area where ive worked since 93, people in suburbs are much more down to earth......even the ones in the big houses.....i make loads on tips unlike when i was in town....i guess i like nice people....many of my customers are taxi drivers, they have great respect for me and even often tell me that mini cabs are the 'taxis' of the suburbs, at least on this side of london, unlike you who seemingly just wants to bash our licenced industry, not perfect but getting there slowly but surely
