Well the law is a good start.

Also what's stopping folks doing taxi work unlicensed, as that's where case law has come from.

Well the law is a good start.

Also what's stopping folks doing taxi work unlicensed, as that's where case law has come from.


im not talking about a london cab/E7/fairway

i mean a a vehicle which with no plate or sign or rooflight would not attract the public to try for a ride home...

as for doing unlicensed work, if wifey wanted to do that would she choose my plated vehicle?

course not.

signs of/badge off, _ "out of service"

your only hacked off cos you drive an anderson shelter on wheels....lol

The diesel smoke test is done by measuring Opacity. It passes the exhaust gases through a chamber and shines a light through the smoke onto a receiver and measures the drop in light received. This gives a reading of the opacity (density) of the smoke
