Uber opening their app in B&H.

Going against, it would appear, what they told the licensing committee.

drivers who think the speed cameras on motorways are linked to the variable speed signs    #-o

Are they not then?

No they have to be calibrated so are set at 70 MPH plus the allowance for error they can't vary it because every time you change the settings the camera has to be recalibrated or so I'm told

On the M1 the other day car came past me at about 80 whilst signs said 50 and guess what the camera didn't flash !!

They may not need to flash.

This thread has some answers for you: http://www.pepipoo.com/forums/lofiversi ... 97775.html

Alternatively, find a stretch of motorway with a variable speed limit of, say, 40 mph, and go through at ever increasing speds: 50, 60, 70, 80, 90. Let us know how many tickets you get.

What is it with KFC and those little packets of salt ?
I get a 2 piece meal and ideally I'd like 1 salt packet, 1 cleanup wipe and a couple of napkins. What I actually get is a dozen salt packets ten napkins and no clean wipe. My record is 15 salt packets and nothing else, how hard is it to put one of each in a bag !

Also why can't the fast food drive-throughs turn off their lights at night when they're closed ? Many a time I've been out of town, felt a bit peckish and driven into one with all its lights on, sat at the intercom for a couple of minutes before realising they're shut :x Or just put a sign near the entrance with 'Closed' written on it.

DURHAM SERVICES

Postage sized car park full of cars trying to escape and cars trying to get in once in your'e trapped  took me 36 minutes to get from my parking space to back onto southbound A1 half a mile away traffic queueing back onto A1 trying to get in blocking traffic trying to exit back onto A1 and cars stuck unable to get out their parking spaces because the entrance is off the main A road into Durham which means only about 30 cars an hour can exit with over a hundred an hour trying to get in

Whoever the planners were that approved that without a roundabout on the entrance should be thrown down a redundant coal mine without the means to escape ! #-o

I've seen some ridiculous results of planning that has to take the biscuit and apparently it is like that every friday

Teenage kids (not mine) being rude to their parents in my car.

I want to bang their heads for the contempt they show their parents, and bang the parents heads for allowing it to happen.
