no put i do know how meny drivers i have. and you sent the e-mail, i have more them 100 but not saying how meny, but when i put phca + there members = them who are not in any. Try again

I am purplexed by this, about 99.9% of associations affiliate.....the NTA dont really do individuals, although there are a couple of exceptions.......do your affiliates in Preston, Blackburn, Bury, Bolton and Burnley know they arent members of the NTA yet, or do I need to dedicate column inches about it?

Would hate to think they gave you £20 for nothing

you seem to be stating that you collected money from drivers who thought they were paying to belong to the NTA. and now you're saying you're not going to pay that money across to the NTA.... fraud is a police matter..... so think before you post.

If I have this correctly, he's saying that they still have money which was collected and intended to pay for NTA membership. As they will not now be NTA members, they are going to ask those who paid this money what they wish done with it, since it will no longer be going to the NTA.

they could apply in there own right, but you would still have the same two association.

bolton as ben paid by me, burnely is not a member and as far as i know neaver as been, blackburn, Taxi owners Assocaition, as neaver been a member it a new association. so were the fraud, are do you suggest i collect money and pay the nta now we are not in it.

how can i pay some one there can not be two association of the same name. but just to make sure i pass this on to GLP. AS YOU KNOW NTA subs are due in January its january so it up to members the chairman said you are know longer a member.

so please tell me i am know longer in the nta, but my members should

any way its not about them its about me, i am like you say it as it is that is what they dont like, wayne as never had time for me better of out of it but the trouble is as i take more association on round here some may be members of the nta, you see the point.

and i get enquiries all the time what do i say are you a member of the NTA IF SO CANT TAKE YOU.

the question is the NTA AS KICK ME OUT, SO DO MY MEMBERS OF THE PHCA WISH TO PAY THE NTA, WHY WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER MEMBERS, IF YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THE ASSOCIATION I TAKE ON WOULD BE IN A ROUND ABOUT WAY ALSO COVERED BY THE NTA WOULD THEY NOT AS I WAS THE SECRETARY OF THE REGION SO COULD I HAVE JUST PUT ANT THING IN ANY WAY.

So as your organisation was booted out by the NTA, you (quite rightly) will not be paying them again.

IMHO the best course of action would be to return any NTA money to those individuals or groups who paid it.
If your organisation decides to affilliate with another trade body, you can organise a new collection to cover any fees.
This should save any further disputes or allegations.

At the risk of repeating myself;

Dear Colleague,

Due to recent events, I have been asked to organise the quarterly meeting of regions 5 & 6 of the NTA. Admittedly this is perhaps a similar move to allowing a lunatic to take charge of the asylum.

The above aside, it more or less guarantees yours truly attending the meeting.

The meeting will be held on 4th March 2009 at the Sale Excelsior Club, Symons Road, Sale, M33 7FJ.

The meeting will commence from 10.45hrs, coffee, tea and biscuits will be available upon arrival.

As you will be aware, I sent out a consultation earlier this week concerning Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, it is important all members read the consultation and bring their views to the meeting in order that we can discuss and hopefully form a united response to the DFT.

I take this opportunity to welcome Warrington Association into the NTA.

If any of you wish for items to be added to the agenda, please let me know by 25th February 09.

If you are unable to attend, please let me know.
