The Gateshead Branch of the T&G (Cab Section) has its AGM soon, at this point I will officially stand down and will not be standing for re-election. My membership has been terminated, the direct debt has been stopped and I have been told that when talking to the press I cannot claim to be from the T&G, however until the AGM I still represent the trade in Gateshead as a T&G official.

I await the NTA meeting, any news CC.

I understand it will be in Washington on 1st March 05, Kick Off 1030hrs for 1100hrs, will send you additional details next week.

That's no excuse - any information he's giving is to the whole world, and he knows even less about most readers than he knows about us - that's why he's still no doubt reading the forum

The only sensitive information that we may hold is the member's email addy, which may contain an anonymous member's real name, but there have been no complaints with regard to this, and in any case it's easy enough to get an email addy that doesn't show the person's name.

In any case, it's Nidge who wants the world to know who he is, so that excuse can't apply either in his case.

If Nidge doesn't want to post that's his business, and if he's starting another forum then good luck to him, but no lame excuses please.

Your making the same excuse we made TDO, thats why our site went tits up and why YOU will force yours in the same direction. Your partner in crime has called members "pricks" just this week, its disrespectful and so you should offer no excuses when members choose not to respect your site.

Well at least that proves my point about Nidge's reasoning, because you ignored my reply and then dredge up another reason.

As for disrespectfullness, Nidge is hardly blameless in this regard, so that's hardly an excuse either.

I posted a warning about this kind of thing last night, and warnings have also been sent to individuals by email.

The 'job in hand' could be gotten on with if people stop trying to put forward specious arguments and causing trouble, as one or two (not yourself) have tried to do today.

I don't really know how you can say that I should stop threatening to 'take my ball back if people don't want to play your game'. There's little point in continuing if all there is going to be is abuse and trouble making - does this mean that's what you want, and if others disagree then it's them that are being childish?

I well understand why the forums that you were involved in were taken down, so you can hardly accuse us of 'taking our ball back' for doing the same thing, and for much the same reasons.
