Read your own posts and those of JT and GT (here or on Fastblacks) and note that very rarely, if ever, is anything actually debated. The tendency is to state opinion as if it were fact then try to ridicule anyone who disagrees.

Perhaps if you were capable of "debate" you would be listened to; after all, you didn't stand up in court and swear at any member of the legal profession for their opposing views, but instead chose to act like a normal person.

As for not getting a job - simple arithmetic proves nothing.

Many people (especially ex PH) just want to do it as a part time job at the weekends, which given the number of taxi drivers who are unwilling to work at the weekend for obvious reasons like picking up the kind of sh!t the goes to Lothian Road, but part timers are more willing or maybes don't know any better. And how many people even when they give up driving a taxi for a living dont just hold on to their breif just incase they need it again. Once they've got it they aint handing it back. Many PH are just on at weekends anyway, and the cars dont work during the week, they just get a weekend rate from Festival or any of the wee local firms Gorgie/Craigentinny etc. Like I said simple arithmetic proves nothing.
