So I'm being told the moral high ground by someone who got a plate for nothing, sold it, now wants another?

Bearing in mind I aint bought a plate in my life, and would never do such a thing because I dont think its right, I find your stance highly duplicitous.

Why should'nt a qualified taxi driver have a choice of whether to own or not?

If he wants to own fine, he already drives a vehicle for someone else it's not like he doesn't earn his living from not doing the job.

He might want his own vehicle to have greater flexibility in his hours, maybe his wife has just had kids and needs to get off the night shift, whatever the reason, what's the problem?

What's duplicitous about that unless of course you would rather see an over supply of drivers to hike drivers rentals and plate premiums.

At the time I sold I could not believe people would want to pay money for a public licence. I couldn't even work out what they thought they were buying.

I know guys who have never driven a taxi but own one.

A friend of mine drives for a woman who bought two taxis but has no licence to drive herself.

This is about paying cartel prices and nothing else Captain. Who do you think you are kidding

Have a look

I've made a preliminary response to that

By the way, the weather in Edinburgh this morning was wonderful, lovely blue sky, I hope it stays that way for next month when 25 insane Englishmen go to Scotland to watch the world cup and play golf

I was up there in a private hire car, because I own them too

Okey Dokey, if you wish, although I dont suppose many people on the site will appreciate it.

Predictable is a variation of predict. An approximate definition is to foretell or indeed prophecy.

One of the great predicters was Nostradamus, he predicted people such as Hitler and man traveling to such luxurious places as the Moon and Pontins.

The main prophecy within the bible, is the 'End of Days' scenario, in the film Arnold Swartzeneger beat the devil and saved the earth.

Well I've had a look, and it seems they've taken the forum private [-( , and it's all your fault  :

Right then people I've altered all the settings so only registered people can view the forums, in a nutshell you'll have to be registered even to view the forums, I see Skull has posted something on Turrets Disorder Online about this site again, his quote was, "I see the Scabbyforum has gone tits up again I can't make head nor tail of it" Skull you thick dime bar I've altered all the settings so Neanderthals like you keep your fat face out along with all your quango mates on Turrets Disorder Online.

Read this Skull I'll type it in big letters because I know how thick you are, you have to be registered even to view the forums.
