From what I can gather from this debate is that up until recently Charles used to be the regional director of region 5 and for some reason he no longer occupies that position. Reading between the lines it would appear that somewhere down the line Charles failed to comply with the rules of the organisation and submit the registration fees to which he was duty bound to do under the terms of registration. Again reading betwen the lines it would appear to me at least that the failure to submit the registration fees eventually turned into a withholding and prompted the NTA to take action to remedy the situation. Whether or not there was a dispute on any matter I do not know but any dispute should be remedied within the rules of the organisation. I promised myself I would not get involved in this matter as it is none of my business and the above passage is as far as I am willing to go.

In respect of the Preston Hackney Carriage association it should be pointed out that the rules of the organisation are paramount and anyone wishing to make changes to the organisation should abide by the rules in doing so.

Changes come from within under a set democratic criteria and removal of officials are subject to the articles of the said association and the votes of its members. I'm afraid Charles you and your members had no jurisdiction to interefere with a democratic organisation and declare the organisation defunct. Only the members of that organisation have the right to rearrange the furniture and to be quite honest it appears they failed to do that.

I don't doubt your commitment to both your members and the taxi trade but if you wish to achieve your aims there are some things you have to do democratically.

Regards

JD

Thanks JD TAKE FULLY THE POINT ABUT FEES.

But disergree with you on this, none of my members were at any of the meeting the only members were at the first meeting was the ones from preston PHCA, A that time very few, the sectarey was there of the PHCA the committee was there except the one the then treasurer.

as far as i was told this was arranged with and by the committee. and there members were in attendce fact.

all the way though this we were given a copy of there rules and we conply with that, and we made sure that all the i and t were crossed, this was done by our solicitors who attend along with the nta it was all above bord.

just let me say this in closing some payment as been made to the nta 2008 at all of the £600 which they dilled us as been paid but mony as been paid. so it was not as they did not get anything, and agree they have the right to kick us out the point is this preston was up in the air you had two association which claim they are PHCA.

SO jd NO members from BBPHA VOTED AT ANY OF THE THREE MEETING ONLY PHCA Members vote with in the rule with all time scales and other rules complyed with, it would seen that you may have had other information given to youself.
