He just rang back for the return. I had one hell of a job trying to tell him that we didn't have anything.

Customers who ring up to book a taxi but they are almost deaf so they can't hear what you are saying. Then after nearly shouting down the phone they put you on to someone who can hear. Why didn't the other person ring in the first place?
Or the 'can I have a taxi please' - certainly where are you ? 'Er, I'll just find out (shouts) which hotel are we at ?, hang on I'll find out and phone back' #-o
And the - how many passengers ? 'three, no four, hang on..is Jeff coming, whats Babs and Roger doing, are they going now, whos coming back to ours, does Fred want a lift ?'

Fat people who get in the back using one door then struggle to shuffle their lard árses over to the other door instead of walking round the outside.

the rotten b*gg^rs have closed off the Kegworth rat run to the airport; you can only get to it via the roundabout now  . Also half the dual carriageway has disappeared under this new freight terminal [-X and it looks like they are building it WITHOUT the promised kegworth bypass which would have made airport access easier

looks like the back way through Long Whatton is going to start getting very busy

Have any of you ever managed to get the full and going LA rate from an up-chucker? It's a £70 Valeting fee up here but the most i've successfully redeemed is £40.00, trouble is you've no leverage to get them to pay up.
