Actually it may surprise you but I don't know what Nigel's site is called and I'm not remotely interested. I've never been there and have no intention of going there. I wasn't aware the link you sent Sirius was for Nigel's site. I think you will find that any URL advertising third party websites run by undesirable elements will not be allowed to advertise on TDO. That is why the site URL is blocked.

All this nonsense about censorship and reading private messages could have been avoided if intelligent people had applied their minds instead of trying to make capitol out of a wrongful accusation.

Just for the record TDO has discretion to block advertising links of websites deemed undesirable by TDO. These websites have never been allowed to flourish on this site and they never will. Policy in that respect has remained constant. Nigel and several people associated with him as far as this site is concerned are undesirable, therefore this site will not be a party to promoting any form of advertising for his or their website.

It is unfortunate that the software picks up censored words in private messages but if anyone wishes to get their message across in PM then they will have to circumvent the censorship software by the inventive posting of words.

The Private message issue is quite clearly put to bed and anyone who thinks it isn't can always use one of the many other means of private communication.

I would just like to clear up one point.

Mr T was banned because he went on a crusade of deleting every post he ever made. He did not ask TDO's permission to do this it was done unilaterally. The edit feature was not introduced for this purpose the feature is there for editing inaccuracies. It is unfortunate for the time being that this inconsiderate user has spoilt it for everyone else. It did not surprise me in the least that Mr T failed to consider the consequences his actions might have on the rest of us. Under the circumstances he brought the sword of Damocles down on his own head and he only has himself to blame.

It doesn't delete PMs, just edits banned words.

Perhaps you deleted the PMs yourself?

Perhaps we should put 'damaging the trade' in the banned list, and change that to 'damaging plate values'.

That would certainly be a more honest assessment of what it's all about

If it wasn't for the likes of you I doubt very much there would be a TDO, so I say thank you and your like minded folk for this site.

If this site followed the yes men from the unions/associations then it would be called the dogs edited by me, but because some folk on here happen to think that all drivers should have the same opportunities, then the likes of you and the liars start crying.

I made a genuine point that my post had been changed firstly by the inbuilt software which changed 'thecabbyforam' to 'theliarsforum' then had 'you should all join too' added on for good luck.

The reply was in response to your, usual, over the top, abusive posting about 'scum'.

I should stop working these long shifts, its clearly effecting your ability to be reasonable about a perfectly legitimate scenario.
