No it doesn't cut both ways. What Uncle Sam and Team GB want, for the most part, depends on people's ignorance and ideologies. Do you really believe that those in power believe they are on some sort of religious crusade, not one bit of it? They are more than happy to have ignorant nutters running about the place scaring the shi* out of the general public.
