They should bring back the Garrotte for Scum like that. as for that Saudi Born Quack of a Doctor, she should be struck off and then sent back to saudi to slither back below whatever stone she crawled from under. Finally every single individual from Harringey councils Child care department that was entrusted to look after the well being of this poor wee mite should be sacked for gross misconduct and receive not a penny by way of Compensation for loss of employment.

Its sickening that so many greedy, selfish, uncaring and inhumane people can get jobs in the caring professions.

What I can never get over is that it was reported that they were visited 60 times :shock: 60 times - surely the alarm bells were ringing, no! all you can hear is buck passing :sad:

As ever the people on the ground were giving the warnings - but do they ever listen?

I just hope when they are sentenced to life it means just that in this case, and they will have to stay in solitary for all of it, if they end up on a wing they will be dead and I bloody hope so
There is not a punishment servear enough in my books except being handed to the taliban for a beheading

There are too many "facts" out there at the moment. I just hope the enquiry into this fiasco actually finds the truth and there are no coverups to hide those responsible, but I am not holding my breath. eusasmiles.zip

I agree with the sentiments here but I have one question where was the rest of the family for this child? Where was his father? I'm sure I read somewhere that his father visited him and took him out so why would you take him back to such a dirty place even if you were unaware of the torture he was being put through. The whole thing begs belief and I hope that everybody responsible pays for their neglect

It does begger belief that so many people IGNORED clear and obvious signs of problems and no one has stepped up and said we should have done better all I've heard on the radio is a string of people defending "proffessionals" when clearly the job they have done is anything but proffessional

I couldnt read the full report of the case when it went in The news of The World, it made me physically ill, we call them animals, but i know of no animal that treats its own kind, its own family for gods sake, like that, the family lived like rats (sorry roland) , or worse, and the so called "professionals" saw the state that littl efeller was living in. Adults can be left to thier own devices, but not children, when we cannot protect children we have no right to call ourselves a decent society

one thing stuck in my mind from what little i DID read, the 15 year old who said they witnessed the abuse but "couldnt do anything" well im sorry, but yes you could have.

as for the doctor involved, if she is qualified im the pope....

i just hope when locked up they dont get the safety of being segregated with the other [edited by admin] and get a kicking every day
