to start with come and work in warrington
get a private hire car and you can open a office on a rank,
open a office across the road from a rank
make your own private hire rank in the street
take flaggers all day long,
park in a rank and go shopping all day.
in warrington you can do what you want if your private hire no one will stop you,
no one cares you don't even need plates just say your a club

ps
any hack drivers in warrington make sure you've not got a magic tree on your mirror or you will be removed from your cab and shot

It certainly sounds that way.
Have you sent your concerns to your LO and a copy to every member of the licensing committee and another copy to the chief exec?

It's the next scam some in the Limo trade will look at.

But as it's illegal I suppose it will catch on there. :?

Warrington is a safe haven for all thats undesirable in this trade come and work here if your area has to much enforcment Warrington accually encourages it nil enforcement here no matter how many times we bring this up with the L/O or the licensing commitee its just not important to them and as for public saftey and duty of care forget that as well!!!!

compare with here then

i picked up the wife from work and drove home, i saw a car close behind, we live in a cul-de-sac, so when i finally turned in and parked and the car pulled up behind me i was expecting to get mugged....

it was our LO

"oh, i didnt recognise the vehicle (though he had handed me the plate that was on the back!) or the driver so i thought id check you out"

when you see him next ask him if he wants some overtime in warrington. the hacks will have a whip round for him.
warrington LO wont mind, as he has weekends off, and mon to fri nights off and lots of days on holiday in between

I know of at least one operator that was doing this a few years ago. I don't know if he is still in the business now. He used to charge a "membership" fee of something like £15-20 per year.

once the signage is approved and applied he wont have to follow me

ive lived in places where my first reaction woulda been to engage reverse and see him off, hard.....so long as as the back bumper is steel or theres a towbar fitted...
