I just use a calculator. Most of my cars have the MPG as a function of the computer and they seem to be quite acurate.

I get 30 mpg round town and on a recent trip to my mums, london to bournemouth, I got 47mpg.

I get my best ratio when I visit my friend down in Worcester. I got there and back and drove around for 3 days all with £33.00. I think the 6th gear helps a lot on the motorway. Usually around town according to mpg thingy bob in the cars computer wotsit it averages between 41-43mpg.

It would be easy to blame this one on a blonde moment but no it's a man thing knowing the names of all the buttons and gadget thingys. I just have thingy bobs and wotsits. The flamin dash board looks like a cockpit and then there's all the fangled stuff for taxi-ing. There's too many buttons and not enough fingeres
