No they owe quite a few firms some money, one lad I know is owed over £1,000 from months ago, when he phones up he's passed from one person to another to another and another. They aren't slow in sending invoices out when they are after getting paid.

I'd steer clear of them if I were you they are nothing but trouble.

Well IMO they are operating outside of the 1976 act. :shock:

Shouldn't really reply to one of my own posts, but it's worth noting that some folks sitting around the MoM table today would wish it to be legal. :sad:

how many invoices though?

and 1 CCJ per invoice with £50+ fees on....they will soon start to take notice

so long as you invoice once per job, not once per month

then theres a winding up order maybe?....

and the daily interest

Why is that then?

They are an operator without an operator's license.

Even if they had an ops license for the area they are based, that would still bar them from passing work to PH firms licensed elsewhere.

in a word NO
here they owe thousands.since they took over the running of the station rank it as been a nightmare trying to get money out of them ,most of the lads here now refuse to do the ticket work off the station with the backing of the station master as he couldnt guarantee we would be paid ,fraser eagle then got a local ph firm to do the ticket work but this as also stopped because yes you guessed it they aint been paid ,so fraser eagle are now using a ph firm from 20 miles away, i say good luck to them if they want to travel 20 miles to pick up a job say going 4 miles they must be mad and wait until they send there invoice in and dont get paid :roll:

I thought they had a PSV ops licence, that would entitle them to book travel anywhere, in the case of PH it would have to be booked via the office of a PH operator rather than with individual drivers.
Most coach ops book taxi to/from tour coaches and for conference clients where there are less than a coach or minicoach load.

If you do any of this;

in the course of business to make provision for the invitation or acceptance of bookings for a private hire vehicle

Then that is to 'operate', and the only thing that can operator is a licensed PH operator.

Have FE got operator licenses for every manor they serve? :?
