If I hadnt seen it I would not believe it. But it happened.
A lot has been said about big wheel chair customers but on Sunday I saw the biggest one I have ever seen.
The wheelchair wasnt up to much, so one of the lads struggled pushing him up.
The lad next in the rank, fair play to him, also gave a hand. And still it was a bit iffy.
So what happens?
After three or four go's. The chap in the wheelchair gets out and walks in the cab.
Laugh I nearly died. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm not a WA cab, but how does it go for insurance purposes for the drivers who are, lets look at it from this point [eg]

a 20+ stone person arrives at the rank in a wheelchair, we will presume they have arrived on her own, the taxi driver we will assume is a mere 9 stone odd, as he is pushing the person up the rams, puts his back out.

Is the driver insured whilst out of his cab or not ???

The customer is always insured via liability insurance.

The driver isn't covered unless he takes out seperate sickness/medical cover.
