speaking to someone in a care/rest home and they mentioned i was a PH driver to the owner, he said another resident had asked a taxi (said taxi, coulda been PH) firm for a quote for christmas day to visit relatives 6 miles away and was quoted ..........£200

i want a bit more for the christsmas/new years days and bank holidays but i think thats fair, most PAYE employees are on trebled time or more

arent PH/HC entitled to the same extra/bonuses that the rest of a workforce get for working Christmas day/new years, and any bank holiday?

Midnight Christmas Eve to 0600 Boxing Day - Meter x 2

There are a few extra hours of meter + half after 1800 Christmas Eve, throughout Boxing Day and sometime around New Year, I believe.

Can I book you to get my mum and bring her to my house cos it's usually double fare here so you would be the cheaper option

Of course we are but that doesn't mean it'll happen. Joe Public doesn't like paying double he only likes being paid double or whatever they get nowadays........
